  4. IV.We’re all adults here; please act like it and respect each other. NEVER shame someone over their RP.
  5. V.This is an English-speaking server. If you write in another language, post a translation please.
  6. VI.Every character, alts included, needs a character sheet and a consent sheet before you roleplay.
  7. VII.Hubs and admin areas are in character at all times. Global chat is OOC; Local chat is IC (use brackets for OOC). Also, no running, jumping, flying or horse riding through hubs or RP scenes.
  8. VIII.Building? Make or join a clan first, and stay within your BP limit.
  9. IX.Reporting something? Take screenshots and open a ticket.

Every rule number on this page is a link to that rule, so you can share exactly the one you mean.

Chapter I

General Rules

These apply to everyone, everywhere: in game and on Discord.

  1. 1
Don’t be an ass. This is an adult server with adults playing, so act like one. If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it at all. Don’t be toxic, and don’t feed toxicity either.
  2. 2
You must be 18+. If you are not and lie about it, you will be kicked and banned immediately, with no possibility of returning.
  3. 3
English. This is an English-speaking server. If you post in another language, post a translation after.
  4. 4
IC and OOC are separate. People are different from their in-character personas. Don’t let IC bleed into OOC. Be respectful.
  5. 5
No metagaming, powergaming or godmodding. If someone breaks this rule, take evidence and report it to the admins.
  6. 6
Never kink shame. Don’t like how someone’s character looks, acts or dresses? Keep negative thoughts and comments to yourself. If a comment can be taken the wrong way, don’t say it.
  7. 7
Kids. Pregnancies can happen, but once a child is born they are whisked away to be raised elsewhere until they are 18.
  8. 8
Dark RP and ERP. You may not publicly advertise gore, vore, scat or bestiality RP or ERP in any Discord channel or in game. Bestiality, scat and vore must be played in private areas with no public access, and never advertised in game, on signs or anything like them.
  9. 9
Screenshots. When you report something, take screenshots and leave no details out. If you cannot provide anything, staff cannot do anything.
  10. 10
Clans. Once you start placing items for a home, you must make or be in a clan. Using multiple clans to get around the build rules can cost you your whole base or clan.
  11. 11
Cheating. Do not use flying items, thralls/pets/followers, or other means to cheat a staff-made event, dungeon, or PVE content. You will have these privileges removed if you do this.
  12. 12
Currency Trading. Do not sell emerald coins or other specialty currency for in game gold.
  13. 13
Modders. Don’t be toxic or rude to the modders in our community. They work very hard on new content for the server. If you have issues with a mod please reach out via tickets so we may pass information along.
  14. 14
Feedback. Complaints are welcome as long as they are constructive. Don’t be a “Debbie Downer” and ruin people’s fun.

✧ Heed (Inactivity Policy) ✧

  • After 21 days being inactive, your build will be subject to removal to free up real estate for others. This applies to inactive clans as well.
  • After 45 days of inactivity, your character application, build, tags, and verification will be removed, and you will have to restart.
  • If you are aware of an upcoming absence or emergency, please post an LOA in our temp leave channel on Discord so we know and don’t remove you or your build. This will extend the inactive timer to 30 days or more, depending on special circumstances.

Chapter III

Roleplay Etiquette

Echoes of Eternity is a roleplay server first and foremost.

  1. 1
In character in public. Hubs and other admin-owned areas are IC at all times. If you can’t RP, put an OOC tag on, but still don’t run around in public or through RP scenes.
  2. 2
Chat channels. Global chat is always OOC. Local chat is always IC, unless you use brackets. In an RP situation, stay IC as best you can and keep OOC chatter to a minimum.
  3. 3
No running about. Don’t run or jump around at random, especially in the IC hub areas.
  4. 4
Take turns. Wait your turn when emoting. Make a turn order if needed.
  5. 5
Knock first. Don’t walk into private rooms while people are RP/ERPing in them. Ask first.
  6. 6
No lurking. Don’t stalk outside someone’s home while they’re in RP, unless they’re okay with it.
  7. 7
Answer emotes. If someone emotes while you’re walking past IC, try to respond, even if you’re only passing through.
  8. 8
Tag in crowds. In a big group you can @ people in game to help everyone keep track.
  9. 9
Leaving a scene. Wait for people to respond to your exit. If it’s urgent, say so OOC.
  10. 10
Seeing someone off. When someone leaves, give them a short emote so you acknowledge them without holding them up.

Chapter IV

Character Creation

Echoes of Eternity is a very open-minded fantasy server. We allow any fantasy race within reason: demons, angels, shifters, humans, dwarves and so on. We’re flexible, but may ask for concessions if a character seems too powerful.

  1. 1
Sheets first. Everyone must have a character sheet and a consent sheet, alts included, before you can RP and take part in the server.
  2. 2
Character count. One main and three alternate characters. All your names, main and alts, must fit in your Discord name.
  3. 3
Age. Over 18 and under 10,000 years old. You may say “18+” and keep it a mystery, but nothing over 10,000.
  4. 4
No gods. You cannot play a god, demigod, god-like character, or a famous fictional or real person. Nor can you be related to such beings and possess their powers.
  5. 5
Technology and time. Any dimension or era, up to the steampunk era. No modern or sci-fi tech or elements.
  6. 6
Child-like appearances. Avoid looking or acting too child-like (height for shorter races doesn’t count). If staff ask, you will have to make your character look more mature.
  7. 7
Character Races. We accept almost all races within reason. Below are a few that would be placed under HEAVY review before approval/denial. You might also be requested to make concessions with said characters as well.
    • This is a single-strike trust system. If you are found to be abusing the race and it is reported, you will be asked to shelve the character.
    • Staff can/will play such characters to assist in player stories/server storylines.
    RaceDescription
    AbominationsCreatures with no human-like features.
High Fae/Arch FeyHighest role within Fae culture and very powerful.
High Angels/DemonsVery powerful creatures with ties to their respective planes.
Elder LichUndead sorcerers with a mastery in necromancy.
CosmariPowerful cosmic beings touched by the universe.
AberrationEntities that defy the natural order of existence.
HagAncient, power, and wicked Fae that inflict misery.
  8. 8
Accessories. Hard cap of 100 accessories, lowered if performance suffers. NPCs are capped at 30, so don’t overdo your NPC traders.
  9. 9
SHAPESHIFTERS. You cannot take on the powers of what you shift into, only its appearance. You can gain some strength if your body mass grows to match the form, and your senses can sharpen slightly (as a wolf, for example).

Names

  1. 10
A proper name. You must have a proper name, nothing like “Floof3000”.
    • All letters in your name must be English.
    • Your name can’t already be taken and must be clearly distinct from names in use. Names must differ by at least 2 letters. Have a backup name ready just in case.
    • You may take a famous character’s name, but you cannot be that person.
  2. 11
Locked names. Some names are locked because of server lore and other reasons. Currently locked: Luna and Elyndraveth.
  3. 12
One name. You may claim only one name.
    • Nicknames and temporary disguises go through the /act command in-game.
    • Any other disguise must have your character’s name in parentheses after it. Example: The Sock Puppet (Lore).
    • This also applies to all shapeshifters.
  4. 13
Titles. King, Queen, Lord, Lady and so on are fine as titles, but not as a way to claim the same name under the guise of it “being different”. Players don’t have to recognise your title, and you may not force it on them or enslave anyone without consent.

✧ Heed ✧

  • If staff ask you to change anything about your character (name, appearance, age, etc.), you must comply and cooperate.
  • Abusing these rules can earn you a strike or worse.

Chapter V

Discord

These are here for your safety and the safety of the Discord itself. Be mindful.

  1. 1
No toxicity. See General Rule 1. Negativity breeds negativity.
  2. 2
Keep memes in their place. Don’t spam GIFs and memes in general chat; use the spam and memes channel. Don’t post child-like GIFs or memes in NSFW channels.
  3. 3
Not a dating server. Don’t message people for that. Harassment has consequences, up to a ban. If you are being harassed, send staff a ticket with evidence.
  4. 4
Don’t block staff. You cannot block or ignore staff, or staff-related things they need to reach you about, in game or on Discord.
  5. 5
NSFW emojis stay in NSFW channels. Want to be cheeky in a SFW channel? Use the eggplant or the peach.
  6. 6
Screenshots from other servers. Not allowed, except from Echoes of Creation (UE4 or UE5). Title them appropriately.
  7. 7
Other Discords. We do not police other Discords, clan Discords included. Screenshot any drama there as evidence in case it spills over here, but we can’t act on disagreements outside our reach. You don’t have to like each other, but be respectful.
  8. 8
Discord’s own rules. Follow Discord’s Community Guidelines at all times. That means no vore, gore, snuff or real bestiality.

The NSFW Section

  1. 9
The right channel. Picture channels are for pictures. Take lewd chit-chat to the general NSFW channel, and keep your posts to the right NSFW section.
  2. 10
Nothing of yourself. Don’t post nudes or lewds of yourself in any NSFW channel. That’s for DMs only, and only if the person wants them.
  3. 11
Banned content. No scat, vomit, urine or the like.
  4. 12
Nothing child-like. If they look too young to be in the NSFW section, they should not be there, even if the character is an adult in lore.
  5. 13
Bestiality. No images with actual animals. Only sentient beasts such as werewolves, giants and minotaurs. Absolutely no dogs, horses and the like.

✧ Heed ✧

  • Breaking or trying to get around the Discord rules can result in a ban without warning.
  • Anything staff consider wrong or in a grey area will be deleted without warning.

Chapter VI

Hubs

These apply in every hub and admin-owned area. The Dark Hub has extra rules of its own.

  1. 1
In character at all times. in the hubs and every admin-owned area.
  2. 2
Guards. Each hub has IC guards that you can use for the following if there are no others around...
    • Stopping non-con and possible slaving.
    • Antag or violent characters threatening you IC.
    • Apprehend a known criminal.
REMEMBER. CONSENT AND COMMUNICATION IS KEY.
  3. 3
No Spamming items/abilities. Do not spam explosives, mines, or magic abilities in any admin area or build unless it is part of an event.
  4. 4
ERP zones. This is a roleplay server first and foremost, not strictly an ERP server, so ERP is allowed but depends on the place.
    • Main Hub: ERP in private rooms or away from others; semi-nude allowed; cover your bottoms.
    • NSFW Hub and Dark Hub: Full NSFW, Full Nudity, ERP is allowed anywhere.
    • No ERP in or around waypoints and warps.
    • Emotes MUST be in whispers so as not to interrupt others.
  5. 5
Dark RP. No vore, gore, excessive blood, or the like in any SFW hub. This includes slaving and non-con.
  6. 6
Effects and pets. Use body effects only for short-term RP; too many cause lag. One shoulder pet at a time in the main hubs.
  7. 7
No flying, running or horse riding. It breaks immersion. Don’t run through just to get your daily, and don’t fly; some areas have no-fly boxes. Dismount away from populated areas and walk to where you’re going.
  8. 8
Fighting. Fights can happen in any hub, but if you start something, you deal with the consequences.
    • Player guards will try to de-escalate and remove people from the situation.
    • NPC guards are a last resort when no players are around to help. They are absolute: they will remove you, no matter what.
    • With proof, your character may be banned from the building for three real-life days.
    • Consent is key, even in a fight.
  9. 9
Hub jobs. Tavernkeeper, guard and performer jobs are available at the hubs, and new ones may be added in the future.

THE DARK HUB

  1. 10
ANTAG, PVP, AND DARK RP. The staff-owned Dark Hub is for dark RP and ERP. If you aren’t okay with that, don’t go there.
  2. 11
No denying antag. PvP, muggings, pickpocketing and the like are all fair game. But you must still follow consent sheets: any non-con, injury and so on must be consensual.
  3. 12
It’s a dangerous place. Play your character like it is, and have fun with it.
  4. 13
Lead up first. Don’t attack right away. Give some RP and a lead-up first, and make it enjoyable for everyone.
  5. 14
Agree to outcomes. Discuss the fight, whether or not to use dice or mech PvP, PvP RP outcomes, and confirm with your partner(s) beforehand. Dice PvP is the priority method we use on EoE.

Chapter VII

Building

Stay within your clan’s BP limit. BP (“Blueprint”) counts building tiles, decor, and storage together as one number.

Build Limits

TierClan sizeBP limitLand claim
I1–2 players2,00050 × 50
II3–5 players3,00050 × 50
III6–10 players4,00060 × 60
IV11–15 players5,00070 × 70
V16–20 players6,00080 × 80

✧ Hard limits ✧

  • Currently, the absolute max cap for BP is 6,000 regardless of the number of donors within your clan.
  • No matter how many donators are in your clan, you cannot build past Tier IV unless you have 16 or more players.
  • On a smaller island where nobody else can build, you may spread out, but you must downsize if staff ask.
  • Build within your means, not your capability.
  • Limits may change between seasons to improve server performance.

Build Rules

  1. 1
Distance. Stay at least 80 foundations from admin-owned structures, and 40 foundations from other clans unless you both agree otherwise.
  2. 2
Hub areas. Don’t build or place decor in the area of the main hub or hub structures. These are staff only.
  3. 3
Lore areas. Don’t build in or block lore passages, caves, towns, dungeons or special boss spawns. Building in or around lore areas needs special permission from staff. If unsure, ask.
  4. 4
No boxes. Make your home immersive and lived-in. No box builds, and don’t stack foundations.
  5. 5
One outpost. One 6×6×4 outpost per clan, counted toward your BP. It must be an aesthetically pleasing, fitting RP place: not a wheel of pain, not a box.
  6. 6
Unattended items. Unattended foundations, decor, bedrolls, wheels of pain and the like are removed without warning.
  7. 7
Decorate with care. If your base lags, you may be asked to downsize.
  8. 8
Water and magic. Use water and water blocks sparingly, four at most. One animated magic circle per clan.
  9. 9
Passive gatherers. Fish traps, beehives and the like are capped at two of each per clan.
  10. 10
Banned items. These may not be placed:
    • Zamoran Lotus Den Hookah
    • Maprooms
    • Base-game portals
    • Vanilla Conan bars (Yamatai, Vanir and Tavern Bar)
    • Elvish Statue II
    • Yamatai Food Set
    • (BD) Statue 4A and its equivalents
  11. 11
Tatami mats. Blue and yellow Heri tatami mats must be picked up by hand, not with the hammer.
  12. 12
Followers. Four followers per person. You may trade one of them for an NPC trader or ToT NPC at your home.
  13. 13
Crafters. One of each type of crafting thrall per base, whatever the clan size. The same goes for crafting stations: one of each (one smelter, one performer, one blacksmith and so on). Don’t be cheeky.
    • Each clan may also have one dancer or entertainer, which doesn’t count toward the limit.
  14. 14
NPC trader. One free NPC trader per clan at the Hub Market. Need a replacement? Ask staff.
  15. 15
Warps. Each clan may buy one waypoint for 100 gold.
  16. 16
Alts. RPR Keys, Family Share and Clan Switch are enabled, so your alts can swap between clans easily. Unless your alt is solo, use your clan outpost as its home, or rent a room at one of the hubs.

✧ Heed ✧

  • If staff ask you to move, adjust or downsize your build, you must comply.
  • If a purge has begun and an empty clan is found, it will be removed without notice or refund.

Commissioning Our Builders

For players who would like our build team’s help with a build or decor.

  1. 1
Eligibility. You must have been on the server for at least a week, be available, and be active and engaging with the community. Donors get priority, but you don’t have to be one. This prevents “dine and dash” requests and builder burnout.
  2. 2
Be realistic. No massive, extravagant builds for one person. If your clan grows and nobody in it can build, you may ask again.
  3. 3
Give details. What style? Which building pieces? Reference pictures are very helpful.
  4. 4
Coordinate. When you submit a ticket, agree a time and place with the builders so nobody is held up. We’re all players here.
  5. 5
Other options. Rent a home in one of the hubs (see Player Housing on our Discord), use prefab buildings, learn from guides and videos, or find someone to live with through the LFRP and clan showcase channels.

✧ Heed ✧

  • Builders volunteer their time and have the final say over which projects they take on and what they’re comfortable building. If a builder declines or asks for changes, please respect it.

Chapter VIII

Dice, Conflict & PvP

How conflict is settled in roleplay: with our dice sheets or, by agreement, mechanical PvP.

Dice Sheets

  1. 1
Our own system. Echoes of Eternity has its own dice sheet and system. Sheets are made and updated on our website and update in game.
  2. 2
Keep it accurate. Keep your sheet as true to your character as you can. No breaking your sheet or your rolls. Be respectful and fair.
  3. 3
Races. If your race isn’t available, pick the next closest thing. No races will be added, but you can make your own subraces with different bonuses. Don’t abuse this.
  4. 4
Staff races. A few “Staff Races” are reserved for staff characters, NPCs and the like, but may be allowed in special circumstances. You must submit a ticket before making the sheet, and may only use one if it’s approved and you understand the risks of abuse.

Settling Conflict

  1. 5
Dice come first. RP dice are the priority way to resolve anything in game: conflict, betting or general ability use.
  2. 6
Or go with the flow. You may skip the dice and go with the flow of RP if all your partners agree. For randomness and the chance of failure, use dice.
  3. 7
Respect the roll. Respect the dice as they lie. No fighting over failed attempts.
  4. 8
Natural rolls win. A natural 20 or a natural 1 takes priority over the total.
    • An orc rolls 15 + 7 and an elf rolls a natural 20 + 1 on a strength check: the elf wins.
    • If both roll a natural 20, the higher total wins: an orc’s 20 + 7 beats an elf’s 20 + 1.
    • A natural 1 is an automatic loss, unless both parties roll one, in which case the higher total wins.

Mechanical PvP

  1. 9
Only by agreement. Mechanical PvP is a secondary way to settle a conflict or antag RP, and only if both parties agree. PvP without consent can lead to discipline, up to a ban.
  2. 10
Take it outside. PvP is off by default. To duel, spawn a “Battle Standard” from your deco box and place it on flat ground away from everyone, so no one’s RP is interrupted. Pick it up when you’re done.
  3. 11
Accept the result. Respect how the duel ends. Best two out of three is fine if both agree.

✧ Heed ✧

  • The sheet may change over time; updates will be constant as we work things out.
  • Misused or incorrectly filled sheets may have to be remade.
  • Consent is key in dice and combat too. Confirm with your partners.

Back to contents

Chapter IX

Thievery & Tracking

Thievery is allowed, but it is not free of consequences: you must leave traces that lead back to your character. If both parties agree their own terms OOC, they may follow that agreement instead of the tracing rules; if this causes problems, that option will be removed. Be mature adults.

  1. 1
Ask first. Don’t force anyone into RP they don’t want. If they say no to being robbed or mugged, move on and find someone else. Always ask; create a channel if you like.
  2. 2
No shrinking in. You may not shrink yourself to sneak into a home. Break in properly, through an open window or the door. Lock-picking isn’t allowed, so you must let the owner know and request access, which covers consent. Can’t reach them and their things are locked? Tough luck; move on.
  3. 3
Limits. Steal no more than 10 gold. Up to two emerald coins may be stolen, and only with the other party’s consent.
  4. 4
Once a day. Stealing is allowed once per real-life day, and a failed attempt still counts. Someone declining to be antagged is not a failed attempt, so you may try again.
  5. 5
Active Thief tag. Put up the LFRP tag “Active Thief” for at least 15 minutes after the encounter. Grabbing money and dipping without it can lead to disciplinary action.
  6. 6
No full mind wipes. A temporary wipe is fine; a full one isn’t. Everything is traceable, by magic or exceptional ranger skills.

Be Traceable

  1. 7
Leave a Point of Interest. Breaking into a home? Leave at least one POI, spawned with Shift+R in the Utilities tab. Can’t get one? Then you aren’t stealing. Make sure it saves, and screenshot it.
  2. 8
Three of six. The POI must hold at least three of these six clues:
    ClueFor example
Body type and heightFootprints, hair left behind, claw marks. A 220 cm orc leaves some sign of it.
    GenderAny hint of it.
AppearanceA scrap of shirt, a colour of cloth, a lost boot, tattoos.
Home biomeA sign of the land your base lies in.
Your namePart or all of it: “Lore Orkington”, or just “‑‑kington”.
AromaA scent that fits your character.
  3. 9
No full masks. Robbing or mugging in the Dark Hub or out in the world? You can’t be fully masked. Your victim must be able to recognise some part of your face: eyes, skin tone or fantasy race.
  4. 10
No teleporting away. You may not teleport out of the area. You may go invisible if it’s a character trait, but only after the RP has ended and the trade is complete.

✧ Heed ✧

  • Always screenshot your RP and POIs. If a server issue wipes POIs, the screenshot shows you followed the rules.

Chapter X

Vampires, Werewolves, and Shapeshifts

Our vampire, werewolf and shapeshift powers come from Count’s Emporium’s Vampirism & Shapeshifting Ascendant mod. You don’t need the mod to play any of these. A vampire, werewolf or shifter written into your sheet and played in RP is just as welcome. The mod’s powers are given on request through a ticket, and you keep them by using them fairly.

  1. 1
Earn your powers in RP. These abilities can be considered overpowered in standard RP. Using them without proper RP lead-up, or disregarding consent sheets, will cost you your abilities and could get you removed from the server.
  2. 2
Consent before contact. Anything the mod does to another player needs their OK first and must fit their consent sheet. That includes biting, turning, infecting, pouncing, and any other interaction that should involve consent. When in doubt, ask OOC.
  3. 3
Strengths and weaknesses. Build vampires, werewolves, and shifters like any other character, with strengths and weaknesses that keep the game fair for players without those abilities.
  4. 4
Balance your immunities. If your sheet says the sun burns your vampire, don’t wear sun protection to skip it. Immunity to sun or fire is allowed, but those are big, expected weaknesses, so balance them with significant weaknesses elsewhere. For example, a vampire who takes sun damage, fears fire, and refuses blood potions (facing permadeath, per their consent sheet, if they can’t feed) can justify being a powerful elder with strong blood magic.
  5. 5
Mind the squeamish. Some players dislike blood, gore, or fear RP. Leave them alone, or at least keep the mechanics away from them. Easy IC ways out: “Your blood smells terrible; I have no desire to feed from you.” Or: “The beast sniffs at you and loses interest.”
  6. 6
Ability Abuse. Do NOT abuse the abilities/emotes given to you via the shapeshifts and curses. Some allow you to see through walls, hide your body, and being able to fly. DO NOT metagame with these, or you will lose them.
  7. 7
Everyone has fun, or it’s wrong. As with all RP here, if everyone isn’t having fun, it’s not being done right. It’s fine to ask OOC whether someone is comfortable with darker themes.

Vampires

  1. 8
The curse. The sun burns you whenever you’re outside without shelter, and your Blood Hunger drains over time. Below 10%, you starve. You slow down and lose health, but starving won’t kill you. Refill Blood Hunger by feeding, by devouring corpses, or with blood from the Pale Lady in the Hub.
  2. 9
Feeding On Players. Hold E on a player to Feed. They get 5 seconds to move away, and if they stay close, the bite drains them and fills your Blood Hunger. A bite can’t kill another player’s character on our server, but play it as a real wound. Only feed on someone who has consented to it.
  3. 10
    Abilities.
    • Slumber: rest to stop hunger and heal slowly.
    • Sight: night vision.
    • Veil: a short invisibility.
    • Swarm: a short flight as a swarm of bats.
    • Shadowstep: a short teleport.
    • Bloodlust: faster attacks and movement, at the cost of fast hunger loss.
    • Bestow Bloodlust: a boost for your own thrall.
  4. 11
Turning Others. Embrace is off unless staff approves it. It’s only considered for players experienced with the mod and in terrific standing with the community. Both players agree OOC first, and the other player must accept the Embrace in-game. They then open a ticket for the role.

Werewolves

  1. 12
Your lore, your wolf. Werewolf lore is yours to choose. The mod is optional flavor for whatever kind of werewolf you play.
  2. 13
The Curse. Rage drains over time. It refills when you devour corpses (Ravage in beast form, Devour in human form) and when you deal damage; Beast Blood restores it. Below 10%, you fall into Weakness: you deal 20% less damage, and your health drops to 30%. While shifted, you heal faster at night.
  3. 14
Werewolf Form is a war form. It hits very hard, can’t be knocked down, and makes enemies bleed and limp. It can pounce to knock targets down, and its Delirium howl freezes enemies in fear for a few seconds. Use it on NPCs and in consensual fights. Shift in a hub or a crowded scene only when it’s part of RP everyone there has agreed to.
  4. 15
    Beast Abilities.
    • Rampage: more damage, but Rage drains fast.
    • Mistborn: invisibility and quick dodges.
    • Running Wild: 30% more speed on all fours.
    • Sense: see living creatures through walls.
    • Leap: a powerful jump.
  5. 16
Spreading the Curse. Infect works like Embrace: only with staff approval, and only after both players agree OOC. The infected player gets a prompt a few minutes later and can choose not to give in. If they do give in, they open a ticket for the role. Werewolves can’t infect vampires.
  6. 17
Wolf Form too. Werewolves also have the Wolf Form, and the shapeshift rules below apply to it.

Shapeshift Forms

  1. 18
Forms we offer. Wolf, Rabbit, Fox, Dragon, and Wyvern. Other forms in the mod aren’t available on the server.
  2. 19
How to get one. Open a ticket with your character’s name and the form you want. Your character sheet should say that your character can take that shape. Staff will give you the form and can take it back if it’s misused.
  3. 20
Looks, not powers, in RP. As Rule IV says, a shapeshifter takes on a form’s appearance, not its powers. The form’s attacks are game mechanics. Use them on NPCs and in consented PvP. Against other players in RP, dice decide.
  4. 21
Keep sizes believable. The Player Menu lets you resize a form from 0.5x to 3x. Small animals stay small. A dragon or wyvern must fit where it is and never block streets, doorways, stalls, or other players’ builds.
  5. 22
Forms in the hubs. Hub rules apply in any form: walk, don’t run or fly. Land and shift back before you enter a hub as a dragon or wyvern. Keep combat forms and their attacks out of the hubs unless staff are running an event.

Help Sheet

  1. 23
Status missing at login? Hold R, open the Count’s Emporium menu and debug your character at the bottom. It safely reloads your vampirism, even around other people.
  2. 24
Stuck or glitched in a form? Use Stance twice to switch combat mode off and back on. If that doesn’t fix it, the Debug button at the bottom of the Player Menu cancels every shapeshift.
  3. 25
Shift back before you log out. Logging out in a form has caused crashes before. Return to your human form first.
  4. 26
Potions not working after you shift back? Wait about a minute. This is a known issue with the mod.
  5. 27
New vampires and werewolves need the role. Anyone given vampirism or lycanthropy must open a ticket to get the in-game role. Without it, a vampire can’t use the vendors and will die from the mod’s mechanics.
  6. 28
Where’s the blood? The Pale Lady and Beo Wulf, the woman under the umbrella near the tavern in the Main Hub and the man near the Library, sells blood and items for Vampires and Werewolves to those with the correct tag. After you get the role, use /kit for the item that gives you your curse.
  7. 29
Want out? Redemption cures vampirism or lycanthropy. The vendors sell it. Use it away from other characters.

✧ Heed ✧

  • The mod updates often. Abilities and numbers can change with it, and staff may switch features off while they test them.
  • Staff may remove powers or forms from anyone who misuses them.
  • Consent is KEY. Always confirm with your partners!

Chapter XI

Player-Hosted Events

We highly encourage everyone to create something great within the world we shape. Questions? Submit a ticket or ask a member of staff.

  1. 1
Ideas. Grand openings of a tavern, library or mage hall, tea ceremonies, parties, concerts, drinking nights, games and more. Keep it fun, light and enjoyable for all.
  2. 2
Getting help. Ask the event team whether your idea is feasible and whether you need help setting up. For lore mechanics or topics, ticket the Lorekeepers beforehand. If something needs building beyond your scale, builders or other staff may help if they’re available. This help is a courtesy: we’re here to help, not to create and run your event for you, and abusing it loses you the option.
  3. 3
Timing. Player events always take priority over server events; staff will not schedule over yours. Pick a time that suits you and your clan first, and don’t plan over other people’s events. Need help choosing? Try When2meet or WhenIsGood.
  4. 4
Location. Your home, your clan build or out in the world. Building outside your own build? Send staff a ticket so we’re aware. Want to use an admin hub? Submit a ticket for permission first.
  5. 5
Advertising. Use the player events channel, ask staff to post in announcements, and advertise in game, in global and in RP. Don’t spam: a week before, two days before, the day of and an hour before is plenty.
  6. 6
Final touches. Have everything ready a few days ahead: roles, decor, advertising. Need staff help? Ticket well in advance; within 30 minutes of the event you might not get support. Then have fun and mingle.

✧ Heed ✧

  • Staff may deny an event that is inappropriate or breaks the rules. This can be very rare.
  • Spamming channels can get your posts removed and a warning issued.
  • Be fair and inclusive. Even if you don’t like someone, treat them with respect. We are all adults.

Enforcement

How the rules are upheld.

  1. 1
No loopholes. There is no reading between the lines. If staff find you to be in the wrong, you are in the wrong. No ifs, ands or buts.
  2. 2
Staff requests. If staff ask you to change your character or your build, you must comply.
  3. 3
Consequences. Breaking these rules or ignoring other players’ consent can earn you a strike, removal, or a ban from the server.
  4. 4
Changes. Rules may change at any time. Changes are announced to the community on Discord, and are only made to best suit the community and the server.

Consent is key
